Marjorie has been litigating the Brown case with the AARP Foundation and Terris, Pravlik and Millian.  Final ruling was 12/31/2024.

Bob Kafka host of Barrier Free America a radio show KSFR 101.1 Santa Fe and podcast, interviews William Bronston, activist physcian, community organizer and author "Public Hostage Public Ransom - Ending Institutional America", The book starts with his autobiographical story of his time at Willowbrook State School, the huge 6,000 person institution in Staten Island, NY. His advocacy in the early 1970's was the catalyst for a class action lawsuit that led to the closing of Willowbrook as well as other institutions around the country.
